Equipped to handle all types of samples from plasma, serum, CSF, tissues, cells, FFPE (Formalin-Fixed Paraffin-Embedded tissue), urine, proteins and peptides, we have a dedicated staff and sample preparation laboratory at our ISO 9001:2008 accredited testing facility.

The peptide content profile of a sample indicates the overall quality and integrity of that sample. The presence of contaminants or characteristic break-down products (proteolytic fragments) provide a direct measure of sample quality. Thus, evidence of incorrect sample collection, preparation, storage or shipping can be identified before results are compromised.
Routine sample QC for biomarker studies is performed using a simple mass spectrometry workflow before and during analytical runs. All samples are compared to reference samples and assigned a score correlating with sample integrity. Outlier analysis and cluster analysis is performed on QC samples, with suspect sample profiles being flagged and subjected to further statistical analysis to identify particular sample artifacts and likely causes of sample degradation or contamination.

You can be secure in the knowledge that all samples are received into a dedicated client-only sample preparation laboratory, logged into our bespoke laboratory information management system (LIMS) and assigned a unique study number allowing continuous sample tracking. We can handle up to ≥1,000 samples per month.
